50th Anniversary of Antique Auto Days featuring Rails, Tails & Ales
During the 50th Anniversary of Antique Auto Days on July 19 & 20 you'll see dozens of classic, vintage, antique, hot rods, muscle cars and much more all parked on the Village Green. It's a true all makes and models show in partnership with the Maine Obsolete Auto League!
Own a car worth showing off? Anyone can enter the show for just $5 per vehicle and receive free admission to the Museum! A special section will be reserved for all 1964 Models as well as a section just for any model year Pontiac GTO which are celebrating their 50th birthday this year too!
Car owners also receive a coupon book with local offers and acommemorative dash plaque.
A new Swap Meet & Flea Market will offer collectors a chance to scoop up a deal throughout the weekend. (link to formswap form)
The traditional Sunday afternoon parade through downtown Boothbay Harbor will depart the Museum grounds at 2 PM.
The show & flea market is included with regular museum admission of just of just $10 adults, $5 kids.
A New Twist on Tradition:
Rails, Tails & Ales
Craft Beer lovers will delight in the new open air craft beer festival we're calling Rails, Tails, & Ales on Saturday, July 19 from Noon - 4:00. There will be great food vendors serving everything from lobster rolls to chowder and from wood-fired pizza to kettle corn.
The Boothbay Craft Brewery will also host a demonstration of brewing techniques and Josh Christie, author of MaineBeer: Brewing in Vacationland, will give a lecture on the history of brewing and beer in Maine.
The Rocktide Trolley will be providing a special trip from their standard downtown route to arrive/depart from the Museum at approximately 12, 2 and 4. Watch for a detailed schedule posted here closer to the event dates.

Tickets for a wristband to enjoy ten – 4 ounce beer tastings will be just $30 (must be 21!) and include Museum admission as well as a very cool souvenir beer mug. Those who do not want to taste need only to purchase regular admission when they arrive. Better yet, be a current Museum Member and your admission is free and your wristband just $25! Tasting tickets will be limited and on sale in advance online, at the Museum and at the Boothbay Craft Brewery & Watershed Tavern.
