Learn the basics of blacksmithing at the Boothbay Railway Village forge with Jim Kearney.
Jim Kearney has been blacksmithing since 1976. He has studied smithing in Ireland and Germany. Jim has forged everything from rigging hardware for sailing vessels to fine architectural hardware. His work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. and in galleries across the country.
Register for the morning class, 9 am to noon, or the afternoon class, 1 pm to 4 pm.
