Community Blood Drive
February 3 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Help patients in need by donating Whole Blood or Power Reds. Whole Blood is the most common blood donation and helps all patients; Power Reds is the preferred donation for helping trauma patients. Power Reds takes about the same amount of time as Whole Blood donations. The benefit to you: It’s a smaller needle, you get to sit up, and you feel better afterwards because you get fluids returned. The requirements for Power Reds are as follows: Male: Minimum of 5’1” and 130 lbs. Female: Minimum of 5’5” and 150 lbs. Blood types required for Power Reds are A-, B-, O- and O+.
