Maine Library Pass Program

Partnering with libraries allows the Museum to remove financial barriers and welcome more families into our community. Through the Library Pass program, participating Maine libraries can offer their patrons a unique opportunity to explore our collections and enjoy a memorable day out together.
How it Works
When a Maine library purchases an Associate Business Membership, they receive a day pass template to distribute to their patrons.
• Daily Access: Each library may issue one pass per day.
• Admission: Each pass provides free admission for two adults and all accompanying children or grandchildren under age 18.
• Validation: Library staff simply photocopy the template and imprint it with the specific date of the visit.
Program Details
While the Library Pass covers standard daily admission, it is not valid for special ticketed events such as SPOOKtacular, the Fall Foliage Festival, or the North Pole Express.
However, an Associate Business Membership grants libraries the exclusive right to purchase North Pole Express tickets at a discounted rate, which can be used for local fundraising efforts.
