Maine Library Pass Program

The Museum rolled out a new pass program in 2014 just for Maine Libraries. Working with libraries in a program like this is an effective way to extend free admission to those who could not otherwise afford a visit to the Museum. It also offers library patrons an opportunity to experiment with new family outings and introduce them to Museums they would not normally visit on their own.

How does it work? When a Maine Library purchases an Associate Business Membership their member packet will include a day pass template which can be photocopied and imprinted with the date valid. One pass can be valid each day and will admit two adults plus all the children or grandchildren accompanying them for free. Library Day Passes are not valid for special ticketed event days like Ghost Train and North Pole Express but the Business Membership entitles a library to purchase these and other special event tickets at a discount for patrons if they wish.
